		<description>I just decided a few days ago myself that I wanted to get into this whole Cocoa stuff. I&#039;ll be aiming more for desktop stuff at first, but hopefully I&#039;ll have some time to play around with iPhone too.

I&#039;ll have to say, coming from a lot of Flex stuff myself, Cocoa is kind of a slap sideways.  Obj-C is a really weirdly formatted language and the interaction with the Interface Builder is kinda odd.  But I&#039;m enjoying it, it&#039;s so nice to have real performance behind apps (unlike my bout with WPF a year ago).

I might recommend you check out &lt;a href=&quot;http://readernaut.com/kneath/books/0321503619/cocoa/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Cocoa&lt;/a&gt; at first.  I can only imagine jumping straight into iPhone SDK is going to be a lesson in pain if you want to get past the tutorial-mode.</description>
